Frequently asked questions

Is this QR code scanner free?

Yes, and there is no limit on how many codes you can scan.

Do I need to allow camera access?

Only if you want to scan live. If you'd rather not grant camera access, upload a photo or screenshot of the QR code instead — it works the same way.

Is my camera feed uploaded anywhere?

No. Frames are analyzed locally in your browser and are never sent to a server, recorded or stored.

Why isn’t it detecting my QR code?

Make sure the whole code is in frame, well-lit and in focus. For an uploaded image, try a higher-resolution photo if the code is small.
